Most things were excellent. Wish I lived closer. Would definitely use them more. Not a fan of the dinner rolls, however. But I am only one person. Too heavy & lacking flavor!

Do NOT be put off from the location or the exterior. Their donuts are amazing and the variety is impressive. Top Choice: Apple Fritters. Any place that opens this early deserves RESPECT! Update (a week later...) We were visiting from OOT (now WV formerly from NYC for +40 years) for a baby shower and our hosts knew exactly where we went when we mentioned "donuts". They took other OOTners there SUN morning before their guests flew back to CA. You know a place is outstanding when you are still having sense memories a week later... GO!
At first you might hesitate. It sits next to an establishment called "Drunken Uncle" and looks pretty unassuming from the outside. Go in though, and you are treated for the best donuts this side of Ohio. I had five different flavors of cream sticks. My three year old and I were not disappointed.

Ok... not only do the more than reasonable prices make a trip to Mineral City's bakery worth it... the baked goods are fresh and delicious!!! Strawberry rosebud rolls, maple cinnamon with nuts, peanut butter cookies, mandarin orange muffins!!! And also savories for breakfast or lunch!!! Must try you won't be sorry!!!
Don't let the looks discourage you. It looks a little rough on the outside but inside is what it's all about. Great place to get a fresh doughnut, loaf of homemade bread or rolls around. My favorite is their sausage link rolled up in a croissant and warmed up with a French Curler. They have fresh rolls and buns and loaves of bread either whole or sliced. The doughnets are the best around and always fresh and affordable. They close at 2pm daily and sell the unsold doughnuts by the box really cheap just before closing.
This is our little secret bakery out in Somewhereville, Ohio. I visit this joint every time I visit my in laws. Bring some dollars and drool over the delicious (and super affordable) bake goods, cakes, pizza, hamburgers, etc. Everything is so so so good and they can heat up anything for you so you can eat it immediately. I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza and glazed donuts!
